Nerve plant (Fittonia spp.) has delicately veined, deep-green, ovate leaves. Although the most popular vein color is silvery-white, you can also readily find varieties with veins in red, pink, white, and green.
Nerve plants are native to Peru and Ecuador, and prefer a high relative humidity, so they are great for terrariums, but can also thrive with regular misting, a humidifier or on a pebble tray. These plants are perfect for small spaces and homes with pets!
