Claire is a ceramic artist and Portland re-transplant. Originally from Washington State, she has spent the past decade across Oregon, Montana, and north-central Arizona, drawing from the varied ecosystems that shape her flora- and fauna-driven practice.
Her sculptural work translates the spirit of the outdoors through a balance of hyperrealism and organic abstraction, creating pieces that heighten the presence of the natural world within a contemporary, material landscape
