The pink to dark blue flowers cover this plant in spring. And soon afterwards, the silver spotted leaves take over and remain attractive all summer long, giving this plant multi-season interest on a compact plant. In addition, the foliage is mildew resistant and looks right at home with other perennials in shady sites.
