syn. Cissus javana
Not a begonia, but actually more closely related to a grape, Cissus discolor is a vibrantly colored tropical vining plant native to SE Asia. Rex begonia vines want to be in rich, moist but well-drained soil with plenty of bright indirect sunlight and a warm, humid environment. They make great hanging plants, but also thrive when given a trellis to climb. Instead of watering on a particular schedule, check this plant regularly and water when the top of the soil has just started to dry out.
