Designed in Sweden, by world-renowned crystal manufacturer Orrefors, the Premier Varietal stemware series brings to you over 200 years of design heritage. The Premier collection is handmade and is designed to highlight the unique flavors and aromas of specific varietal wines, great for entertaining and everday use. The Premier collection represents the highest level of handmade craftsmanship from Orrefors. Premier collection is a classically produced handmade stem that combines old world manufacturing techniques with the new and updated Swedish design. Each glass has a slightly different shape. This is strategically done to enable each glass to bring out the flavors, aromas, and so much more. The logic is that the design of the glass; from the engineered shape of the blown bowl and angle of tapering of the wall to the rim can and will affect the way someone experiences the aromas, tastes and overall experience of a wine they have purchased. Orrefors developed these stem shapes to enhance the aroma and flavors of different varietal grapes used in wine making.
